Saanich is my home. I want every resident to have a meaningful voice in how our community changes.
I was born and raised in Saanich and have lived here my whole life. I have watched our community go through rapid changes, often without enough consultation with the people most affected. That experience inspired me to run for council and help provide a voice to residents who do not feel listened to.
I am especially committed to people with disabilities, seniors, and people living on fixed incomes who are struggling to remain in their neighbourhoods. Growing up with a sister who has autism taught me how important it is to advocate, listen, and include people directly in decisions about their lives.
As a licensed practical nurse, I see the strain on our healthcare system during every shift. I want to bring more health-focused advocacy to Saanich, including preventative-health programs and initiatives that make it easier for healthcare workers, family doctors, and clinics to serve our community.
Young voices matter because these communities are ours too, and we will carry them forward for generations to come. I care about people, and I believe Saanich will be stronger when residents of every age, background, and ability are informed, included, and heard.
